The biggest challenge on this project was location, it was in San Antonio, TX.   Added to that, the clients lived in New York. The house itself was designed so that the homeowners wouldn’t feel like they were rambling around in this 10,000 s.f. Hacienda when on their own, while still being spacious and welcoming enough for entertaining. Several outdoor areas for dining and relaxing anchored by a pool and grotto compliment the exterior where they have the luxury of year-round entertaining. Hand carved cabinets, wood shutters and custom made iron and glass doors were built in Mexico. Artisans from Peru created the beautiful over-sized furniture pieces.
